Multiple British cross-country champion and Olympian Oli Beckingsale will race at BikeRadar Live, with the intention of lifting the first What Mountain Bike Dirt Crit title.
The Giant World Team rider is looking forward to heading for Brands Hatch in July after missing out on last year’s event at DoningtonPark.
Oli’s list of career achievements is impressive, and after competing in the last two Olympics (finishing 12th in Beijing) his next big goal is to compete in front of a home crowd at the London 2012 Games.
He has worked and trained hard to stay at the top for years and it’s this drive and ambition to better himself along with his relaxed character which has made him popular with fellow racers and fans alike.

Oli said: “After missing out on BikeRadar Live last year, I’m not going to make the same mistake twice. It’s cool that there is some proper cross-country action for everyone to get stuck into and I’ll be well up for taking the Dirt Crit title.”
Pro rider and course designer Will Longden said: “It’s fantastic news that Oli has agreed to come and ride at the show. He’s a great ambassador for UK mountain biking and is sure to entertain the crowd from the front of the pack in the Dirt Crit Champs. I know he loves to race in front of a big crowd so be sure to come and cheer him on!”
Oli is currently training hard for the coming World Cup season and another defence of his national series and championship titles. To find out more about Oli and where and when he’s racing this year, check out www.olibeck.com.
