Oakley releasing limited edition Tour de France collection sunglasses

Plus Mark Cavendish signature edition RadarLocks, and Twoface and Style Switch

Oakley are to release several limited edition collections of their sunglasses, focusing on the 100th Tour de France and Mark Cavendish.

The Tour de France collection includes four different models: The Tour de France 1903 Fuel Cell, which features an emblem on the inner earstem with the year that the Tour started (1903) and the colours of the French flag. Red and blue stripes colour the Oakley logo while the official Tour de France logo is etched onto the Black Iridium lens. US retail price $140.00.

For lovers of the RadarLock, Oakley have two different Tour models – the RadarLock XL Straight Stem and a RadarLock Path. Both include a Tour de France bag and two lenses etched with the Tour logo: a G40 for low light and a Red Iridium for bright sunlight. They're both priced at US$240.

The fourth in the Tour collection is the Half Jacket 2.0 ($140.00). This features a Black Iridium lens, blue Unobtainium stems and a dash of yellow in the Oakley logos.

If you fancy the green eyewear of a certain Manx sprinter then check out the Mark Cavendish Signature Series RadarLock. This comes in "Cavendish green" with a Jade Iridium and G40 lens, both etched with Cav's logo. Included is a storage/cleaning bag and a Rapha cycling cap that features Cav's signature. Alas, it doesn't guarnatee you Cav's sprinting speed – you'll have to work on that. RRP $280/£205, available early April.

Finally, Oakley have released a couple of new lifestyle models: Twoface and Style Switch. The Twoface features an aluminium lower orbital (bottom half of the lens frame) and several lens options: standard, Iridium and polarized. These range in price from $140-200 (£120-170) and will be available from 1 April.

The Style Switch sunglasses use Oakley's Switchlock to make it easier to swap lenses. As with the Twoface you have a number of lens options, from standard to polarized, ranging in price from $160-220 (£135-195). They'll also be available from 1 April.
