This winter UK race organisers Gorrick are running a new series alongside their popular Autumn Classic events – the Merida Brass Monkeys.
Each of the three rounds will feature four-hour and two-hour mountain bike enduros plus a one-hour fun race.
Organised in conjunction with the Army Cycling Union and title sponsor Merida, the series kicks off in November with the Winter Warmer at Rushmoor Arena in Hampshire.
Gorrick say the courses will feature "fast, flowing singletrack coupled with toe-tingling technical sections along with a smattering of lung burning climbs". For more information, check out www.meridabrassmonkeys.com.
