London's Condor Cycles are launching a limited edition World Series to celebrate founder Monty Young's 80th birthday.
Just 150 of the triple-butted steel framesets will be made, and they'll feature the same round tubes and cast lugs that have featured on Condor's bikes since the doors opened in 1948.
Five versions will be available. Each will have a predominantly white frame with highlights in either blue, red, black, yellow or green – the colours of the World Championship rainbow stripes. The design is based on the bikes used by Condor's professional track teams in the 1960s and '70s.
They'll be supplied with a matching fork and 1in headset, a Condor branded San Marco Concor saddle (black or white), Condor alloy seatpost and colour-matched leather bar tape. The frames are available with track or road dropouts, in sizes 49, 52, 55, 58 and 61cm. For details, visit www.condorcycles.com.
