Former Team BikeRadar rider Neil Donoghue will be back racing World Cups this year, and he'll also be turning his hand to some enduro downhills. 'The Don' will be riding Santa Cruz bikes – the V10 Carbon for downhill and Blur LT Carbon for everything else – and rolling on Continental tyres.
Sponsored by Oneplanet Adventure, he'll be competing at selected World Cup rounds and in the Halo British Downhill Series, as well as taking on the Megavalanche and SixSixOne Gravity Enduro series. He'll also be acting as an Official Test Pilot for Conti, working with their R&D department to test new casings and rubber compounds.
Now a qualified skills instructor, Donny racked up numerous national series wins and top 10 finishes at World Cups before taking a break from racing. Known for his smooth style, he also appeared in films including the Earthed series, Between The Tapes and First.
