We got a first glimpse of Motorola's MotoActv - an all-in-one training device, GPS tracker, cycle computer and music player - at the recent London Bike Show. And now here it is in full unboxing glory as presented by Cycling Plus Editor Rob Spedding.
Keen runner and cyclist that he is, Rob has been pounding the pavements reviewing the product for future issues of Triathlon Plus (39 - on sale 6 March) and Cycling Plus (261 - 2 April). But the MotoActv is much more than a running watch and attached to a bike mount (which comes included as standard), it becomes a very able bike computer.
The £249.99, 35g device has many of the bells and whistles of its competitors, recording distance, speed, pace, calories, routes and heart rate (with optional £39.99 sensor). It's waterproof and has a claimed battery life of five hours for outdoor use (10 hours indoors), 8GB of storage, FM radio capability and a 1.6in colour screen.
