Kona recalls 2014 Wo fat bikes

Fork failure poses hazard to riders

This recall applies to approximately 531 Wo fat bikes sold from September 2013 to July 2014

Bicycle brand Kona has issued a recall for model year 2014 Wo fat bikes. The Ferndale, Washington-based company posted a notice on its website stating that the bicycle’s Kona Project Two Fat Disc Fork can crack or break at the fork crown/steer interface.

Kona urges customers affected by this recall to immediately stop using the Wo and contact their local authorized Kona dealer for instructions on how to receive a replacement fork.

This recall applies to approximately 531 Wo fat bikes sold from September 2013 to July 2014.

Riders affected by this recall can contact Kona at (800) 566-2872 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time (Monday through Friday) or via email at wo-recall@konaworld.com.
