Following the recent news that Sir Chris Hoy and Evans Cycles have teamed up to launch a range of bikes, BikeRadar have been given more information and a sneak peek at one model from the line-up (see our image gallery, right).
Evans Cycles say they're extremely pleased with the progress and development so far, and are nearing a point of sign-off by Sir Chris himself. Evans also claim the new range will offer unique aesthetics and a distinctive ride quality.
Sir Chris will be riding his latest HOY road bike sample in an open public session at the Cyclopark, Kent, at 3pm on Wednesday 16 January. Although the public won't be able to ride the new bike, this will be an opportunity to get a glimpse of what the HOY road bikes might look like, and of course to witness the new machine being put through its paces by the man himself.
