Frog Bikes has released the City Bike – a fully equipped commuter bike for children designed for riding to school or around town.
Starting from €620, the Frog City Bike is claimed to fit children from the ages of five to 12. UK pricing is unavailable at the time of writing.

The Frog City bike has eight gears, which is more than many children’s bikes.
Frog Bikes says derailleur gears offer more range and are easier to maintain than hub gears.
The Frog City Bike is equipped with FrogFit Technology eight-speed gear shifters. The brand claims these are “youth-specific”, with smaller paddles to suit little hands.
The bikes come with a kickstand and a pannier rack with 25kg load capacity as standard.
All three sizes are available in black, teal or pink colour schemes.
The Frog City bike has swept-back handlebars and a step-through alloy frame.
The floating chainglider prevents clothes from catching in the chain, and keeps dirt away, according to Frog Bikes.
The brand adds the chainglider can be removed without tools for cleaning and maintenance.
Frog Bikes says the City Bike is available now in nine European countries, including France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The company says the worldwide launch (including the UK) will be in spring 2023.
Frog City 53
The City 53 has 20in wheels and is designed for ages five to seven. It weighs a claimed 8.45kg without pedals or accessories.
Frog City 61
For children aged eight to 10, the City 61 has 24in wheels and is claimed to weigh 9.17kg without pedals or accessories.
Frog City 67
The City 67 has 26in wheels and is aimed at children between the ages of 10 and 12. The claimed weight is 9.61kg without pedals or accessories.
