Everybody knows Brad Wiggins likes his clothes – he’s currently rocking a yellow jersey that looks very good on him – but last week saw the first fruits of his work with Fred Perry unveiled.
It's part of the Bradley Wiggins X Fred Perry Collaboration and marks the start of a six season partnership between the clothing manufacturer and the mod enthusiast.
Wiggins has been involved with the designs from very early on, with the style of the first garment echoing the vintage cycling jerseys of the 1960s. The slim-fit cotton shirt is finished with ‘GB tape’ around the neckline, retro metal zips, zipped pocket on the rear and a ‘Bradley stripe’ around the tip of the sleeves. They are on sale now in white, sky blue and black colours for £65. www.fredperry.com
