Following the success of Fi'zi:k’s road shoe range, the Italian company have launched two off-road shoes suitable for cyclocross, mountain biking or commuting.

The entry level M5 has the sail fabric straps of its road siblings, and a micro adjust buckle (the same one as on the M1 off-road shoe, rather than the one pictured), but adds super tough, abrasion resistant mesh and rubber toe protection sourced from climbing shoes. The sole has a distinct flex point ahead of the cleat, to aid walking or running, and accepts studs.

The M1 shares many of the same features as the M5, but includes a carbon sole that allows for some flex, a more aggressive tread pattern and Fi'zi:k’s own mouldable footbeds. Retail prices should be £159.95 for the M5 and around £230 for the M1.
