Brodie have re-introduced the Dissident full-suspension mountain bike to their ‘descension’ line-up for 2010 after a two-year hiatus.

Designed to be abused in the slopstyle, freeride, slalom and four-cross arenas, the Dissident has got 'playbike' written all over it.

It's available in both short and long sizes, has a RockShox Pike 426 fork, Marzocchi Roco Air World Cup rear shock, Avid Juicy 3 disc brakes, a mix of SRAM X7 and X9 for shifting, and a RaceFace Respond crankset.

The Dissident will be available in the UK via Progressive Bikes for £1,799. Other bikes available through Progressive include the Holeshot hardcore hardtail (£1,099), Zealot (£2,599), Pariah (£1,899), Ethos (£2,299) and Mettle (£1,799).
