Remind you of anyone's bike? This color goes by the name LeMond - Fat Chance

Chris Chance originally began making custom road frames in the late '70s. The early '80s came around and mountain bikes exploded onto the scene giving Fat Chance a near cult-like following for his fast, aggressive hardtails. Then at the start of the '90s, Chance took all the knowledge he gathered making mountain bikes and introduced the Slim Chance.

True Temper OX Platinum tubing

The new Slim Chance is constructed in the US with True Temper Plantinum OX steel tubes. Fat Chance has had a long partnership with True Temper, with the renowned tubing being the basis for Fat City’s best known bikes including the Slim, Yo Eddy and Wicked. It's noteworthy that True Temper has decided to move away from the bicycle tubing business so procuring a brand new frame made from the fantastic ferrous metal will be difficult in the near future.

Framesets or complete bikes available

The framesets include a Chris King headset and either a Yo Road segmented steel fork or a carbon Enve 2.0 fork. Complete Slim Chances will be available with Fat Chance offering eight groupset options: SRAM Red and Red eTap; Campagnolo Record and Chorus; and Shimano Dura-Ace mechanical and Di2 and Ultegra mechanical and Di2. Wheelsets from Enve, Mavic and Ritchey along with bars and stems from either Enve or Ritchey round out the build options. And for those who desire to have it all, a matching painted Enve stem and Silca Impero frame pump are available for an additional cost.
