Etape Cymru organisers Human Race have named Wiggle as a major sponsor of the 92-mile closed road sportive, which will be held in North Wales on 8 September 2013.
In keeping with the Welsh theme, Human Race are also offering an additional 100 spots for the sold-out Wiggle Dragon Ride on 9 June, provided you enter the Etape Cymru as well. The price for this 'Wiggle Dragon Double' is £110 with places available on a first come first served basis at 9am GMT on 28 January. The Etape Cymru on its own costs £59 per entry.
The Etape Cymru is in its third year this year and is establishing itself as one of the UK's big sportives. Starting and finishing in Wrexham, it has the attraction of a very tough and scenic route all on closed roads. In 92 miles you climb a total of 6483ft and there's even a timed section up Horseshoe Pass if you want to really test yourself.
The Wiggle Dragon Ride is in its 10th year and has sold out nearly every year since its inception. It offers three rides: the Gran Fondo (206km), the Medio Fondo (125km) and the women-only Cycletta (37), which replaces the previous Corto route.
