It’s the depths of winter here in the northern hemisphere, so French cycle clothing brand Ekoi has released a new range called the LED Collection to help keep you visible while riding.

The LED collection includes the Perfolinea jacket, gloves, and a clip-on LED dial for Ekoi helmets, compatible with the Ekoi Excel and Corsa Light lids.

The Ekoi Perfolinea Flash jacket has an integrated LED in the back, with four different modes: continuous, fast, very fast or flashy. We like the sound of flashy - Courtesy

The Perfolinea Flash jacket is designed to offer protection against wind, snow and cold temperatures. It’s made from Thermo Windtex, a thermal fabric that’s breathable and waterproof, and used by numerous other brands including Giordana and Lusso.

The collar is fleece lined for extra protection from the cold, cruel wind, and the jacket has three back pockets and one zippered pocket. It’s available in the following neon colours: green, orange or yellow. On the back, the jacket integrates an LED light that can be activated in four different modes: continuous, fast, very fast or "flashy". We like the sound of “flashy”. The jacket costs £134 / €159 and is available now.

The LED Black gloves are made from Super Roubaix Thermo Lycra, and feature touchscreen-compatible fingertips – should you wish to prod your phone while riding. The integrated LED strip on the back of the gloves has four modes: continuous, fast, very fast, and our old friend “flashy”. It’s available in sizes small to XXL, and priced at £20 / €24. It's available now.
