For 2013 Deda Elementi is introducing a seatpost designed to work with Selle Italia’s Monolink saddle system.

The Monolink seatpost mounting system uses a single center rail, which allows for more fore and aft adjustment than a traditional twin-rail saddle. This single-rail system also allows saddles to be constructed with a narrower profile.

Deda’s 188-gram (claimed) Mnlink seatpost is constructed from carbon fiber with alloy hardware in the head unit. Separate bolts are used to make adjustments to saddle angle and setback, ensuring that one adjustment does not affect the other.

The Mnlink will be offered in 350mm length in 27.2mm and 31.6mm sizes.

Pricing will be about $260 or 195 Euros, Deda Elementi's Tom Franges told BikeRadar.
