FLi Distribution were showing off the latest O'Neal gear at last week's Cycle Show 2010, including the Airtech full-face helmet, Torque SPD shoes and some Cedric Gracia signature kit.

Airtech helmet

We liked O'Neal's Skad full-face when we tested it last year. The new polycarbonate Airtech AT-1 is set to clock in at a similar bargain price – £109.99 – but boasts a more moto-inspired look (think Troy Lee's D3), with a wider back for better compatibility with neck braces.

The version shown here is a prototype; the production lid will have gauze in its air vents rather than the mesh fabric shown here, a lower trim around the face for an improved field of vision, and a longer (possibly extendable) peak.

Weighing in at a claimed 1,100g, the Airtech meets the CE EN1078 standard and has removable, washable pads. It's available in eight colourways. We think O'Neal could be onto a winner with this one.

Torque shoes

Also new from O'Neal is the Torque SPD shoe. This looks to combine features from successful shoes like SixSixOne's Filter – the Velcro strap and laces closure, and skate shoe style look – and Shimano's MP66 and new AM45 – the raised section on the inside of the ankle which protects against crank strikes – in a good looking package that "won't make you look like a space raider". RRP is £84.99.

Cedric Gracia

O'Neal are the new armour sponsors of French downhill and four-cross legend Cedric Gracia, and they're bringing out a whole range of kit with his distinctive CG logo on it. On display at Cycle Show 2010 were a CG Skad full-face and some signature Sinner knee pads.

We tested the standard Sinners back in April and were impressed by the performance of the SaS-Tec memory foam padding which, according to FLi, is "like d3o but better, as it doesn't shatter and is better in slow speed crashes". The CG Sinners will certainly make you stand out from the crowd. RRP is £59.99.
