There was only ever going to be one way that Ernesto Colnago celebrated his 85th birthday — with a very special limited-edition road bike bearing his name. How special? Well take a look at these pics.

- Colnago C60 review
The images, courtesy of UK retailer Sigma Sport, reveal that the new Ottanta5 is based on the Italian marque's C60 carbon frame, hand painted in a silver metallic gloss and featuring Ernesto's signature on the down tube.
The frame comes equipped with a mix of high-end parts like Campagnolo Super Record EPS, Bora Ultra 50 wheels shod with Vittoria Corsa tyres and matching Ottanta5 handlebars and stem.
Colnago says the new bike is a "nod to the glorious past of Colnago", which can be seen in the original Colnago logo from 1954 and the use of star-shaped lugs that were first seen on the iconic Master frame.
The Colnago Ottanta5 will be limited to just 85 bikes and comes in no fewer than 19 different sizes. Price? A very spendy £9,999 / $TBC.
