Classified has developed its own direct-mount alloy crankset to complement its innovative two-speed internal gear hub.

Following its collaboration with TRP, this brings Classified a step closer to producing a near-complete groupset without using components from the big three drivetrain manufacturers.

The carbon cranks are based around a 30mm alloy spindle and can be configured for road or gravel bikes.

Road chainrings are available in 50, 52 and 54t options, and gravel riders have the choice of 46 or 48t. The chainrings are compatible with SRAM Flattop and Shimano 11-speed chains. It's not known if they are compatible with 12-speed Shimano chains.

The crankset is claimed to weigh 652g and is available only in a 170mm crank-arm length.

Classified has also worked with Rose to offer bikes built with its system.

Inspired by its XLITE road bike, the Backroad FF is Rose's gravel racing bike, with an aero-optimised frame and full internal cable routing.
