Trials rider and next month's Mountain Bike UK cover star Chris Akrigg has been seriously injured while filming his next video.
The Yorkshire-born rider was left with a shattered leg and broken arm after an accident on a cliff drop. A metal rod was inserted into his leg and pins into his arm during an operation last night. He is said to be in good spirits this morning following the four hour surgery.
