The Cannondale Synapse 5 has won Cycling Plus magazine's prestigious Bike of the Year 2014 award for its supreme blend of class leading comfort and performance.
The test team finally settled on the Shimano 105-equipped Synapse 5 after putting a long-list of 50 bikes priced between £1,500 and £2,000 through the mill in some of the worst British weather in years.
To celebrate the achievement, BikeRadar's shiny new YouTube channel carries an up close and personal look at the winning machine with Cycling Plus technical editor, Warren Rossiter. Watch it here, and read about the Synapse 5 in the current issue of Cycling Plus, BikeRadar's sister publication.
