Cannondale’s 2025 SuperSix Evo Team Edition is now available to buy, giving pro cycling fans the chance to own a WorldTour-ready bike – if you’ve got deep enough pockets.
The men’s WorldTour campaign is set to begin tomorrow (Tuesday 21 January) with the Tour Down Under, with Cannondale’s SuperSix Evo Team Edition bike the machine of choice for the EF Education-EasyPost team.
Cannondale has a long-standing relationship with EF Pro Cycling and the 2025 season marks 10 years of EF riders on board Cannondale bikes.
“The design of the Lab71 SuperSix Evo Team Edition tells the story of our partnership,” Cannondale says. “A subtle Easter egg on the down tube blends Cannondale’s iconic green – a nod to our origins – with EF’s bold pink representing the team’s fearless reinvention over the years.”
Cannondale says the bike is “99% team spec”, with the SuperSix Evo frame dressed in a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, FSA Powerbox K-Force Team Edition carbon crankset with power meter, Vision Metron SL 60 wheels with Vittoria Corsa Pro tyres and Cannondale’s SystemBar R-One. Can any of our eagle-eyed readers spot where the missing 1 per cent is on the spec sheet?
The Team Edition model is available to buy as a complete bike or frameset.
The complete bike is priced at $14,000 / €14,499 / £TBC, while the frameset costs $6,000 / €5,999 / £TBC.
The SuperSix Evo is Cannondale’s aero-inspired all-rounder, sitting alongside the SystemSix – Cannondale’s dedicated aero bike – in the brand’s race bike range.
The SuperSix has a long history, first arriving in 2008. The bike we reviewed back then weighed 7.3kg and cost $5,500, with Shimano Dura-Ace (albeit a mechanical groupset – Di2 didn’t arrive until 2009 – and with Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels).
This latest version of the SuperSix Evo launched in March 2023, arriving with the claim of being the lightest SuperSix ever, thanks to the 770g claimed weight of the top-tier Lab71 frame, and a 12-watt reduction in aerodynamic drag compared to the previous SuperSix.
The SystemSix, meanwhile, which is also available to the EF team, was launched back in 2018 and is one of the bikes we'd love to see updated in 2025. Will EF Education-EasyPost riders have a new aero bike at their disposal at some point this season?
