The MBUK Podcast is back and this time – to celebrate the launch of MBUK TV on YouTube – we're joined by one of the biggest names in mountain biking, Brendan Fairclough.

One month after the 2024 edition of Red Bull Rampage concluded, Fairclough arrived at the MBUK studio wheeling in the bike he rode in Utah, still powdered with the famous desert dust.

Rampage 2024 represented Brendan's seventh trip to the most terrifying mountain bike freeride event of them all, but one of his most disappointing results to date.

How does he now reflect on the event? What does it take to create one of the meanest lines in Rampage history? What was it like to race the famed Honda RN-01 downhill bike? And just how do you go about making a film as big as Deathgrip 2?

We discuss all of this, along with why he’s stepping back from World Cup racing, being teammates with Sam Hill and developing the DMR DeathGrip grips.
