Bikes from US company Blue Competition Cycles are now available in the UK thanks to a deal with Multisport Distribution Limited.
The range includes road, time trial, cyclo-cross and mountain bikes. The frames are made in Asia but everything else – design, engineering, sales, marketing and assembly – is done at Blue's headquarters in Norcross, Georgia.
The company's aim is to produce reasonably priced high-performance bikes. Founded five years ago, they are now the official bike sponsors of USA Triathlon. To mark their arrival in the UK, they are offering a free wind tunnel aero fit to anyone who buys a Triad time trial bike.
Blue's global marketing manager Chance Regina said: "Our entry into the UK market is very exciting for the development of our organisation.
