After hanging in the balance for months and a global pandemic to contend with, the delayed edition of the 2020 Tour de France is finally upon us.

The 107th edition of the Tour starts in Nice on the Côte d'Azur tomorrow (Saturday 29 August), with the peloton setting off for a 3,470km lap of France that takes in each of the country's six mountain ranges along the way. Whether the race actually reaches Paris is another matter, of course.

This may be a Tour de France like no other but one thing's for sure, the Tour is still cycling's biggest race and an opportunity for riders, teams and, most importantly, brands to showcase the latest equipment.

What new tech will we see at the Tour? What Tour de France bikes should we look out for? What are the emerging trends in pro cycling? And what as-yet-unreleased products do we really want to see?

We answer all those questions and more in the first episode of our Tour de France podcast series.

We've got plenty more coming on the Tour de France in the next three weeks, so stay tuned to the BikeRadar Podcast.
