Whether using an electric bike’s self-shuttling capability to session sections and improve your riding, shredding longer days to further-flung regions, or using an eMTB as an adaptive bike to open up cycling limited by illness or disability, electric mountain bikes have many benefits.
Of course, eMTBs aren’t universally loved – anti-social riding, complex maintenance, reliability issues and confusing sub-categories of bikes have done much harm to their image.
