To celebrate its first anniversary on 24 August, BikePark Wales is opening a new 900m jump line – the A470.

Reputedly the biggest, and – say BikePark Wales – best, jump line in the UK, the A470 is a brand new red-graded trail created as a collaboration between trail builders Back on Track and the park's own trail crew that BikePark Wales describe as “a work of art, each lip and landing sculpted with love and care from Welsh rock and dirt”.

Riders can also check out the all-new Insufficient Funds trail as well as improvements to Zut Alors, Willy Waver and Enter the Dragon, while Vicious Valley also gets a new start.

The A470 opens on 24 August, one year to the day since BikePark Wales first opened. Park sponsors Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport, Mojo/Fox, Trek and Shimano as well as the guys from MBUK will all be in attendance to celebrate the trail centre's first birthday.

Check out the new A470 jump line in the video below from Liam Murphy. The first in a BikePark Wales diaries series, the video features Trek World Racing’s Laurie Greenland shredding A470 Line in a recent test session.
