Australian cycling clothing label Attaquer (pronounced “attack-er”) have released their latest batch of kit, once again stepping away from the traditional with their unusual designs. Dubbed 'Season 2: Welcome to America', the range features five new styles.

BikeRadar took delivery of two of them – 'Anchors and Skulls' and 'Electro Aztec' (both AUS$349). Attaquer's designs range from the subtle to the plain loud, and the newcomers also produce arm, knee and elbow warmers, socks, caps and Shammy Cream.

The Italian made, high quality, race-style clothing features lazer-cut legs and thermo tape grippers that are tighter than on many other bib shorts we've tested. This serves to keep them in place, and the minimalist, triple density chamois keeps the underside comfortable while not overloading areas not in contact with the saddle.

The bib shorts and perforated front panel jersey are extremely breathable, rated to UV 50+ and claimed not to fade in the wash.
