RockShox has revamped its popular Reverb and Reverb Stealth dropper posts. Along with claimed improvements in durability, the Reverbs are available in more size/travel options including a 170mm travel variant.

Internally, both the Reverb and its remotely activated sibling have undergone a complete redesign and now sport an all-new SKF internal floating piston design. Bushing overlap has been increased to build on the Reverb’s already impressive durability. The lever on the remote version appears unchanged.

It’s probably fair to say that the current Reverb is still the benchmark dropper post, and so this redesigned component is certainly a big deal.

BikeRadar tester Seb Stott has already tried out the 170mm version for three days in Canada and was impressed. Expect more on these new Reverbs in the near future but for now here’s a breakdown of the specs of the new posts.
