The entries are flooding in for a new Instagram competition by folding bike brand Brompton, which encourages owners to submit pics of their 'unseen' city, its hidden gems and what makes city living so unique and exciting to them. We've gathered 11 favourites from those submitted so far; take a look through the gallery above or the story below.

The competition started on 3 October around the hashtag #MyUnseenCity, and the winner will be announced at the end of January 2017 — with a Brompton Black Edition bike up for grabs. The second-placed entrant will win a Brompton Game Bag and matching iPad case, and third place will receive £50 worth of photography vouchers.
A shortlist of 20 photos will be viewed by an international judging panel from the creative industries, including hugely successful Instagrammer Dave Burt (@London), photographer Rich McCor and journalist Raquel Sánchez Silva. Plus Brompton boss Will Butler-Adams.
"We live in cities full of history, art, architecture and life," said Butler-Adams, "yet most people ignore this and choose to disappear underground or lock themselves in an insulated and air conditioned box to get across their cities. Through the #MyUnseenCity photography competition we want to remind ourselves what we have on our doorstep and encourage others to get on their bike and explore their city!"
