Mondraker was at the forefront of the development of the long, slack geometry that has reshaped mountain bike design over the past several seasons. Now, the company is unveiling a 29-inch version of its popular Foxy trail bike that looks even more inviting and more aggressive than its 27.5-inch sibling.

Mondraker Foxy 29 highlights

  • 160/150mm front and rear suspension travel
  • Adjustable head angle via headset cups
  • Designed around shorter fork offsets
  • Metric shock with trunnion mount
  • 1x specific frame design
  • 73mm threaded bottom bracket
  • Available in S, M, L and XL sizes

While the Foxy 29 shares the same 150mm of suspension travel as the latest 27.5in Foxy introduced last season, it’s a decidedly different machine that's intended to make the most of the speed and rollover benefits of 29in wheels.

Mondraker’s dual-link Zero Suspension system has been adapted for 29in wheels with greater anti-squat to improve pedaling performance.

In keeping with Mondraker’s design philosophy, the Foxy 29 uses the company’s Forward Geometry, which employs a combination of long front centers and very short stems to improve high-speed handling.

Like the Mondraker Summon, Dune and Foxy 27.5, the Foxy 29 gives riders the ability to fine-tune handling through the use of headset cups that can adjust the head angle plus or minus one degree from the stock head angle of 66 degrees.

In line with the trend in long-travel 29ers all three versions of the Foxy 29 are equipped with shorter, 44mm offset Fox forks.

Other highlights of this new model include a 73mm threaded bottom bracket, ISCG-05 chainguide tabs and internal routing through tubes molded into the carbon frame.
