Our videographer Felix Smith is taking his Lauf Anywhere on a truly epic endurance race — the 2,000km Transatlantic Way — which gets underway tomorrow, Thursday 6 June.
The one stage, self-supported race will see him battling the elements between Dublin and Cork via the Wild Atlantic Way, taking in seven of Ireland's western counties and their show-stopping scenery.
- Three abdominal exercises to improve endurance cycling performance
- The seriously tough gravel race that I didn't want to end
So what better way to send him off than throw him on the side of the camera he's not used to, and get him to take us through his racing setup?
Whether it's gearing, navigation or bags, Felix gives us the low down on his ultra-endurance machine and what this brutal event might have in store for him.
