BikeRadar took a look round the Lazer stand at Eurobike 2014, to see the brand's 2015 lineup.
The range includes the innovative WASP Air IS and Genesis Lifebeam, the top-end Z1, and new releases including the Magma and new women’s collection, Moi.

Wasp Air IS spec details

The Wasp Air IS is a shorter version of the Wasp aero helmet, designed to meet the needs of triathletes, track and TT riders. The 'IS' part of the name refers to the Inclination Sensor, a new tool that Lazer developed to keep the rider’s head in the perfect position for maximum gains. After setting up the sensor, based on the rider’s ideal position, it tracks the position of the helmet and provides a signal if the helmet deviates from this position.
The integrated lens is an integral part of the helmet and can be moved forward to allow air to flow into the helmet when needed – air passes over the rider’s head and out of the two tail vents. A trip wire on the top of the surface of the Wasp Air IS ensures a smooth airflow over the tail of the helmet.
The Lazer Advanced Turnfit retention system makes sure the helmet is snug and comfortable on the head.
Z1 spec details

The Z1 is Lazer’s most advanced road helmet to date. It features new technology called T-Pro – or temple protection – which puts additional coverage at the side of the head. This adds protection without adding weight or reducing comfort.
The Z1 also features an extra light version of Lazer's award-winning Rollsys system, called ARS (Advanced Rollsys System).
Deep ventilation channels draw air through the helmet, while keeping the gap between the head and the shell to a minimum. It also comes with a detachable aero shell. The whole lot weighs a claimed 225g (for the medium), and is comes in three sizes.
Lifebeam spec details

The Lifebeam takes the compact design of the award-winning Genesis helmet and integrates a sensor within the headband to monitor the rider’s pulse rate. This sensor communicates with a processing unit in the back of the helmet, which then transmits data to most modern communication devices via ANT, removing the need for a chest strap.
The Lifebeam also features 19 cooling vents and Lazer’s Rollsys fit system. Aero shells can also be bought separately, as well as a small light that can be added to the Rollsys to improve visibility.
Weight is claimed to be 280g for a size medium – the Lifebeam also comes in large.
Magma spec details

The Magma helmet combines looks and performance in a comfortable helmet. The Advanced Rollsys System makes sure the helmet is snug and comfortable, while 22 vents keep your head cool.
Even with the integrated visor the weight is kept low (down to a claimed 250g) so you can enjoy long rides out on the trails.
Moi range spec details
Lazer is now producing a line of female-specific products, that “draws inspiration from the catwalk, city life, fashion and cycling culture”. Lazer combined these influences with its technical knowhow to create the Moi line of products, which is 100 percent female-friendly.
Expect feminine colour combinations, ponytail-friendly retention systems, haute couture patterns and subtle female details.
