A lifelong rider, David has enjoyed cycling in all its many forms, from BMX, mountain biking and road racing, to audax, cyclocross and gravel. He just loves riding bikes. But it’s not just the thrill of tearing down a singletrack trail or mountain descent that keeps him coming back for more, but learning about the latest tech, designs and materials that have seen bikes advance immensely since he first swung a leg over a top tube. David has been reporting and reviewing the latest bike tech for most of the biggest cycling publications for more than 15 years. These days you’ll mostly find him in the Cotswolds on a road, gravel or mountain bike, still exploring and having fun on two wheels.
