These overtrousers do a good job of keeping rain out - nothing gets through the Aqua-Tec (nylon) and all the seams are well taped. Getting them on and off over shoes is simple thanks to the calf zips which are backed by another layer of waterproof material.
The fabric is breathable and we've worn these on wet training rides and stayed comfortable, although things can get clammy when you up the intensity. Adjustable Velcro tabs allow you to keep the legs away from the chain and you get lots of 3M reflective trim for safety.
