If you want easy-to-use brakes and max cross-country bling for your money, look no further. The narrow rims only take tyres up to 2.3in wide, but the deep profile adds some sturdiness and they're rim brake compatible.
The 24 chrome style spokes are arranged in wide-spaced pairs to look super fly and they stayed tight and true. The Shimano hubs give a longevity boost, with proper serviceable bearings and stout, almost silent sealed freehubs. Cunning clamp-on six-bolt adaptors on the Shimano Centerlock splines mean they're compatible with both rotor standards too. The Chromelites are heavy for XC wheels though.
