The most recent tyre from Ernst-Wilhelm Bohle are these 25mm front and rear-specific race tyres.
While planting a broader footprint on the tarmac than the universally recognised 23mm width, the larger air space meant we could run the tyre down to 90psi without risking a pinch puncture.
These front and rear-specific tyres have a softer front tyre compound to provide better wet weather grip and are easy to fit and remove using the hands. While it's too early to know their long-term performance, we expect that the larger than average footprint will provide a greater resistance to cuts and pinch punctures too. The rate of tread wear is also commendably low.
