Truvativ's Noir T30 riser bar ticks all the right boxes when it comes to performance but the price of this carbon beauty is a lot to swallow.
At a trail taming 700mm wide, and with a five-degree upsweep and nine-degree backsweep, we're big fans of the T30. We found the width perfect for trail and all-mountain riding, and it's also available in 680mm for cross-country whippets.
At 205g it's not going to break the scales, the unidirectional carbon weave construction makes it strong and it has a pleasing shiny finish that so far is wearing well, even after a few knocks. The textured centre improves grip, and angle marks make setup easy and ensure a solid fit.
The angles equate to a comfortable position to smash out the miles. Out of the saddle the bar is stiff and the extra width gives you plenty of leverage to accelerate and a wider stance to attack rough terrain. It's also available as a 700mm or 600mm flat bar if that's your flavour.
