NC-17 are a new brand but some neat thinking and detailing mean they deserve real attention. The Big-D's fat section tapers early in the bend which makes it quite forgiving over big hits or rocky/street riding. The generous rise to the tips split opinions between lovers and haters, but NC-17 have a big range of bars in other shapes, and the price is reasonable for the quality.
>NC-17 do loads of more normal stems but we couldn't resist covering this monster 1.5in steerer piece. A super wide 65mm mouth and face plate front thick walls with a huge CNC cavern inside. A side-slotted window on the back keeps weight bearable, and hidden bolts mean it's actually fairly knee friendly despite its size. The front window mirrors the bar logos nicely while red logos are bolted into recessed holes on the side. Quality costs, though.
