With the increased popularity of 29ers, riders keen to keep their lofty front ends low should consider Loaded’s AMX flat bar.
Measuring a whopping 810mm wide, the AMX bar comes with cut marks to cater for everyone’s width tastes, as well as a detail in the centre of the bar for stem alignment.
It took a fair amount of time experimenting with bar position to get things feeling somewhere near comfortable, as the zero upsweep, combined with the eight-degree backsweep, takes a bit of getting used to.
Once you get that position sorted though, the AMX has a solid, stiff feel, giving positive point and shoot confidence.
