Hope Mono Mini Works review

Hope Mono Mini Works review

This is a tricked version of Hope's standard £120 Mini Mono that drops the low weight even further. Power is good rather than outstanding with the 160mm rotor, but the firm lever feel gives very accurate feedback and control.

Our review
Very light, massively adaptable and superbly finished for the price.

This is a tricked version of Hope's standard £120 Mini Mono that drops the low weight even further. Power is good rather than outstanding with the 160mm rotor, but the firm lever feel gives very accurate feedback and control.

The brake handled dyno heat OK too, with some fade but no boil on the standard run with the floating rotor (£10 extra) upgrade. A new carbon lever blade (£25) drops the weight even lower, and braided hose costs £9.

Easy-fit slotted post mounts are now standard and the super crisp CNC machined work and laser etching throughout give a distinctive high-tech look despite a very competitive price.
