Specialized Air 8 review

Specialized Air 8 review

Specialized’s Air 8 slots into that middle ground of helmets, which is an area a bit thin on the ground – especially when it comes to women-specific lids. Inside is the proven retention system and this, combined with the U-Turn straps, makes it easy to get a comfy and reliable fit. Venting is good, so there are no problems with over heating and the snap-on visor keeps the sun and rain out. It’s not completely inmolded like some lids but the price reflects this, otherwise it ticks all the necessary boxes.

Our review
A value for money, comfy and reliable, middle of the range lid, especially for women.
