The perennial MTB classic gets an update with Giro’s clever POV adjustable peak and its 15 degrees of vertical movement adjusted with a simple shove – ideal when the trail suddenly steepens and you need to keep both hands on the controls as well as see where you’re going.
The fourth incarnation of the tried’n’tested Roc Loc retention system allows a small amount of vertical adjustment (though we couldn’t get it to stay put in the shallow position for very long) as well as the usual volume take-up and soft rubber side bands are easier on the ears than some stiffer models.
The 24 massive vents are great at cooling and glove-friendly camlock buckles deal effectively with harness adjustments.
