Gore's Windstopper Softshell fabric is designed to add lightweight warmth with windproof, breathable protection. The added protection is provided courtesy of the Windstopper membrane and not only does it do an excellent job of blocking out the wind, it also does well against rain.
The legs come highly recommended and make a perfect addition to a pair of thicker shorts. Fit is spot on and they cut out all the windchill and keep a lot of the road spray at bay to stave of any further chilling. The arms don't fit as well as the legs, being a bit baggy, but they work just as well.
