Our review
Neat, high-power broad beam light for use on technical trails but lacks a power meter

Hope’s new stripped down trail light delivers broad spread technical trail illumination at a relatively low weight, but it’s low on features. The new head unit packs in four LEDs for a 1500 lumen output that’s been arranged to give a broad spread of light. This is great for bar mount use on technical trails, but there’s a definite trade off in terms of long-range detail pick up when riding at higher speeds.

Lighting modes are programmable to help match performance to your riding profile. However, to reduce head size and cost, Hope has also left out any sort of battery indicator system. So, we’d recommend this Enduro version (rather than the standard £250, 244g option) with a double capacity four-cell battery so you can get a ride in and get home. Helmet and head strap mounts are included plus the neat metal twist lock bar clamp for maximum versatility and increased value.
