This new minimal headlight is a versatile, high-value intro to nocturnal off-roading.The small head unit houses a Seoul LED that gives a tight focused spot with peripheral halo to keep things in context.
There’s some random light/dark variation across the beam but it’s enough to ride off-road safely, as long as you’re sensible with your speed. There are low power and flashing options for road use plus side vision slots to improve visibility in traffic.
Battery life is outstanding, so you’ll rarely see the '20 percent left' warning light. The lightweight, compact Li-Ion battery is a great easy-to-fit feature at this price, but it takes ages to recharge so plan ahead. There’s also a double-head spot-and-flood Terra 2 option (£99.99) for more spread and versatility.
