The latest addition to the Helmet Hero camp is the best yet. The wide-angle video camera is equipped with a five megapixel sensor, waterproof and bashproof casing, and a 170-degree fisheye lens.
It will shoot 1,945 still photos or 56 minutes of 512x384 video at 30 frames per second with a 2GB SD card, and can take various auto sequenced photos.
You can also flip the moving image, which allows you to position the camera virtually anywhere using the supplied mounting kits for helmets, wrists, bags and frames.
The image quality is surprisingly good and the wide-angle view is excellent. It really gives an ‘onboard’ feel, removing the flat 2D feel many helmet cams give.
