Pirelli has quietly launched two new tyres designed for all-road and gravel riding.
The Cinturato Adventure is a more aggressive do-it-all gravel tyre and the Cinturato All Road is a low-profile tyre designed for drier conditions.
Both tyres are available with black or tan sidewalls.
They come in 40, 45 and 50mmm width options, but are available only for 700c wheels.
Unlike Pirelli’s existing range, the new tyres are manufactured outside of Europe. Pirelli says this enabled it to bring the price of the tyres down to £41.99 (international pricing TBC).
Both tyres use Pirelli’s Pro Compound Gravel compound, which was designed specifically for gravel riding, according to the brand, despite these tyres also being suitable for all-road riding.
The tyres are built around Pirelli's TechWall Gravel casing, which features a bead-to-bead puncture-protection layer that's designed specifically to prevent sidewall cuts.
Stock is expected to arrive in the UK with distributors in late April or early May.
Pirelli Cinturato Adventure
- Available sizes: 700x40mm, 700x45mm, 700x50mm
- £41.99 (international pricing TBC)
- Tan wall or black sidewall
The Pirelli Cinturato Adventure uses a new tread design, pairing blocky lugs laid out in a V-shaped pattern with larger lugs on the shoulder of the tyre. This is similar to the tread on the Cinturato Gravel RC, but with a lower profile overall.
The tyre is an all-round gravel tyre that should perform well in looser conditions.
Pirelli Cinturato All Road
- Available sizes: 700x40mm, 700x45mm, 700x50mm
- £41.99 (international pricing TBC)
- Tan wall or black sidewall
The Pirelli Cinturato All Road pairs a low-profile dot pattern tread with a slick raised central section. Widely spaced low-profile lugs sit on the shoulder of the tyre to boost cornering grip.
The tyre is designed for drier conditions or hardpack terrain.
