The best road racers in the UK are set to ride in the Blackpool Nocturne criterium this Saturday (1 July).
The course will take in the famous tower and North Promenade of the ‘Las Vegas of the North’.
Russell and Dean Downing will be hoping to take the win home for their respective CandiTV and Rapha teams.
Meanwhile, criterium specialist Antonio Tauler will line up alongside Swiss track and crit specialist Franco Marvulli, South African riders Robbie Hunter and Daryl Impey, plus a strong Halfords Bikehut squad in the shape of Rob Hayles, Ed Clancy and Ian Wilkinson.
Other cycling activities during the day include a folding bike race and the Blackpool Sportive.
