May saw two Giro d'Italia-themed challenges held on BikeRadar Active. We challenged you to climb lots of hills and get plenty of miles under the belt for the chance to win prizes.
For the Giro BikeRadar Challenge our members had to log 21 or more rides during May. Congratulations go to Dawn who logged 28 rides and is the winner of a box of cycling goodies and an exclusive Maglia Rosa BikeRadar Challenge t-shirt. Three prizes were on offer for members who uploaded the longest individual ride, with the longest being a massive 388 miles logged by Grill, followed by 258.4 miles by granthuggins and 252.7 miles by Alastair Reynolds. Spot prizes were also available to members who logged in excess of 211 miles and riders who logged individual rides longer than 101 miles, the winners of the spot prizes can be found here.
Members of the Maglia Azzurra Climbing Challenge had to log over 6,500 metres of climbing to qualify for the main prize draw to win a Santini Giro D’Italia Maglia Azzurra King Of The Mountains Jersey.
